I’m thinking about getting back to WoW.

I played WoW between 2006-late 2007. I think I got to level 40 and got my mount when I stopped. I moved overseas after 2007 and completely forgot about WoW. Lately, I've been thinking about playing again but I was watching streams and I feel like the game is too far advanced for me. I know my old account is gone and I have to start from scratch. Is it still worth it?
