My camp counselor had asked how long it’d been since I sh’ed

I was at camp last week & she noticed my wrists and asked how long it’d been since I self harmed. I lied and said a while even tho it had only been a few days. I also had almost got caught with a razor. Basically they were doing searches cause of prank calls being made (we aren’t allowed to have our phones) and the girl who was searching our bags almost opened this compartment with my razor in it & I lied and said it was “private stuff” in there so she ended up not opening it. She was unzipping it I was an inch close to getting caught. I never felt so relieved in my life when she believed me.
