UPenn's M&T Program Admissions

I'm considering applying to UPenn's Jerome Fisher Program in Managment & Technology. I know that if I am rejected there is an option to default back into engineering admissions and potentially be accepted to the engineering school. I plan to apply ED to UPenn, not ED the program itself.

If rejected by M&T, does anyone know if there are lower chances of being accepted into Upenn Engineering? Are there lots of people in the engineering school who were rejected from M&T? Thank you!
