Japan lens purchase

Hey everyone,

I live in Australia, and I’ve got a trip booked for Japan next year in Feb, I want to purchase a 70-200 2.8 gmii my local shops currently have them priced for $2999 aud, I was wondering if their priced better in Japan , I would be happy to even purchase a 2nd hand. Or if it’s better to get it local prior to leaving ?
