[Product Request] lingering pinkness even a year after injuries
So I am in my late 20s. I have noticed a few things change but something that really is bothering me is redness left over from cuts. for instance i cut my knee kneeling on a bit of wood. The small pink/purple blemish remains a year after. Historically I am sure such redness would be gone in a month. I heard redness is caused by blood vessels not going away. I have a bad scar on my arm that has also been pink a year. It went hypertrophic which seems to be an issue, i know it will happen once the skin goes 'sloughy' which never happened before. This was a bad burn but i also saw it happen with my shoulder when i stood up into a metal cabinet corner.
I tried everything like vitamin c dermarolling, blue copper peptide serum, kenalog plasters, silicone gel and sheets. Sometimes using this on my aforementioned knee injury. etc. I flattened my hypertrophic scars injecting triamcinolone acetonide but the pinkness remains.
How can I treat this or what can i take to ensure it doesn't occur for further injuries? The collagen in my feet is going. I am not sure if it is related.
Do you think this is indicative of something I am lacking like collagen or protein and that supplements might be the answer?
I was going to get inkless needling to repair a white scar on my forehead but I am scared it will go pink like everything else.
Help would be appreciated!
