intermittent A/C failure.

2015 Nissan Versa 1.6

The A/C has failed to turn on several times starting at the beginning of the current summer season.

It is easily remedied by switching recirculate off. At this point, it will function as normal and recirculate can be turned back on.

I am unsure if the compressor is engaging, but the blower definitely is not engaging when this occurs. turning the A/C off and on, or switching the blower setting off and on do not remedy the failure, only turning recirculate off and on.

What part or parts are the likely culprit for this behavior?
