You’re a bright vibrant color in a world full of grey and black I never believed in love at first sight, But your smile erased that Suddenly filled with a new emotion, Like a boat rocked by the waves in the ocean Suddenly my life knew peace, if only for a few moments, But it’s those moments that’ll last for eternity

Your voice guides me through the unknown like the northern star, For this drug I need is you, I’ll walk any distance no matter how far I can be your Clark Kent, and you can be my Louis Lane A perfect combination down to the name Now, my heart is seeing different views, With this heart I'll meet you, With this heart I'll greet you, Anywhere you choose.

Background: I met a girl 6 months ago and we went on a couple of dates. We then stopped seeing each other, but all these weird coincidences kept happening. It felt like something was trying to tell me something. I don’t fall fast, but we really had a connection. Recently she’s come back into my life and it revived how I felt about her. I’ve never wrote a poem for anyone or anything, but something told me I needed to get my thoughts and feelings down on paper and I had nowhere else to post this.
