HELP I'm so sad

Suggestions/Advice

I'm currently a BS physics 4th sem student at air. I applied in this sesh and got in BSCS evening. Should I take this offer?

Considering I don't like my present dept and have no friends, and don't think the BSP degree will take me far, it isn't a big deal to ditch this.

However, in return I'm gonna get in the evening program. Albeit the degree is more useful/valuable, what would the university life even be for evening sessions? I'm guessing no events, no societies, koi ronaq nahi hogi? Bachelor's ke sirf cyber aur cs walay hongay toh limited opportunities for socializing— chances are it won't be much better than my current situation. Matlab koi university life hi nahi hogi? (abhi bhi itni khaas nahi hai but at least there's some session or something going on every other day in the auditorium and such that I can just attend alone. At least there's stuff to do sans company. Evening matlab nothing to do, no company?).

I feel so pessimistic, like it's a lose-lose situation. I'm an extrovert and I crave having that connection with people and that liveliness/social life around campus. Chalo if not that I don't know how I would survive without having societies and society events. IS IT WORTH IT? For a better degree? I'm already miserable here but I find silver linings, I feel like I can't see a silver lining for the evening program except having a good degree that I can use to earn well hopefully.

What would you do in my place? Or if you're someone who's taking the evening offer send in some optimism pls thx
