Someone created an account using my email

Woke up this morning to an email asking for verification for a Kraken account that I didn’t create. The support system for Kraken assumes you have an account, which makes little sense when people fraudulently create accounts for people like myself and the others I’ve seen post here.

I caved and submitted my data to make a ticket (Ticket # 13483658), but it didn’t like my attachment of the email. I can only assume I can’t access the ticket to correct it because I don’t have an account that I created… could a Mod help me out? That being said, on behalf of the other folks who didn’t want to submit more personal data just to submit a ticket, can Kraken open up their support to be… supportive… of those who had accounts created fraudulently?
