Need advice.

So I am married to my husband since last 10 years. We live with my in laws and they are very religious people so from the beginning we have never cooked any kind of meat/eggs at home even though they know that we like to have eggs and even have it outside. I also never forced them or raised any disagreement regarding this. Now they have a domestic help whose main function is cooking and since the last month she has started cooking eggs at home, obviously without their consent and hiding it as well. I know this because the help offered some to my child. Now my mil is completely dependent on this help. I do not share a good relationship with my mil. She has done a lot of things during Covid that harmed my son and we are in the process of building our flat and will start living separately in the next 6 months. Now regarding this egg issue my mil became aware of this yesterday and she has kept shut. If it would have been me who would have done this then she would have created a ruckus. I for one feel that if she is fine with eggs being cooked at home in hiding by the help then I can cook it openly. Btw this help and mil have many a times talked about me in condescending tones and when they are travelling she likes to keep tabs on us through the help. What does everybody think?
