[M4A] Looking for seasoned literate roleplayers to get back into roleplaying!!

Discord

Hey there!

I'm a 18-year-old roleplayer and today, I'm looking for a long term roleplay partner who is willing to write expressive and detailed responses. This isn't a necessity, but is a huge positive that I appreciate in all my roleplay partners, especially ones that I continue roleplaying with for a long time. A paragraph or two of good lengths might suffice too!

I usually try match my reply lengths with my partner's, and consider myself as somewhere between Semi-literate and Advanced-literate and my roleplays are generally focused on considering the role, setting and development of story. Through my roleplays, I usually try to, and have hopes that my partner also tries to, stimulate each other's senses. This means that I generally look for descriptiveness and enjoy roleplays where we can indulge ourselves into the scene.

I also like when the scenes aren't drawn out unnecessarily and contribute something to the story. Things like scenes where the characters are just chatting aren't too fun except for when they actually show the essence of their being or show the characters opening up.

I love a good long slow-burn if our characters have romance, and I can play all perspectives and tenses, but I prefer 3rd Person, Past/Present Tense.

While I generally don't require us to be actively roleplaying at the same time, I do expect a response every couple of days. I do love to chat so OOC planning and talks are always fun. Although if schedules don't allow it, we can always put our roleplay on hold.

I also tend to be busy with College but I can always take a couple of hours or more out depending on the day.

About what we're going to play. I have lots of OC and Fandom ideas and I'd love to share them with you so feel free to DM, any gender and all ages! Let's write for our love of roleplaying.

What I'm into:

  • Original characters
  • Descriptive writing
  • Intricate settings and partner willing to take charge at times instead of just responding to my actions
  • Long-term slow-burn romances
  • Strong antagonists who can fill protagonists with hopelessness, weak characters who grow with internal/external conflicts.
  • Well written action sequences and showing emotions instead of telling about them, as much as possible.
  • OOC CHATTING!

What I'm NOT into:

  • Canonical characters
  • Mary Sue characters
  • Unwillingness to take action and charge
  • One liner replies
  • Taking control of each other's characters.

DMs Open. Let's have fun!
