AEON 2 Noire Questions

Headphones - Closed Back

Hello, I find myself in need of a high-end closed back headphone, and I'm looking at the Aeon 2 Noire. It's a decently pricey pair of cans, so I'm hoping to get some advice before purchase. I've been sold on sound quality from other reviews, but I'm curious how good the noise isolation is. I've moved recently and the new apartment unfortunately has a good amount of background noise I'd like to keep out, and my current open backs predictably don't do the trick.

I'm also wondering about Dan Clark's weird audio cables. Looking at their website they use an (almost) proprietary connector, and buying the headphones with a 4.4M balanced cable is an extra 200 dollars. I've never been one to overspend on accessories like cables, so I'm wondering if just buying it with the 3.5MM cable they have and using a 3.5M to 4.4M adaptor to plug into a balanced 4.4M socket would pose any issues. Confusingly, they don't say if the 3.5MM cable is balanced or not, so presumably it's not? Perhaps i need to email them to ask.

Final question, I'm currently sing a Fiio K7 as my DAC/AMP. It's pretty beefy when using the balanced output, so I assume it'd be fine to drive the headphones. But I'd like to make sure since I'm not super interested in also buying a new DAC/AMP.
