How many drs did you see until you found “the one”?

Hi everyone! I’ve been living with Postherpetic neuralgia for almost 2 years. It started on my back left shoulder and has since moved to my left arm, hand, leg, and foot. I’ve seen a few pain specialists and a neurologist and neither have been able to figure out why the pain has spread and intensified. I’ve gotten epidural steroid injections to lessen the pain and it has only made it worse. I’m seeing a new well reviewed neurologist next week to get more answers. I was wondering when or if any of you have found your dr that finally did something right and started to feel better?
