Need advice on my AD

Huge newbie, admittedly. But still hoping a kind soul can guide me… (warning: bought a Breitling to get in good graces… I know…). I’ve been after a two-tone submariner date (oystersteel + yellow gold, with blue dial). I want it for personal reasons, relates to a deceased family member + accomplishments that honestly aren’t relevant to the convo. Point is, I want it and will pay whatever - but will not go grey dealer. I bought a Breitling navitimer with hopes of getting a Rolex allocation. It’s been about 3 months, and have heard nothing. I bought from a very reputable dealer in a semi-metropolis. Think Atlanta, Charlotte, Dallas, Houston. Not Chicago, NYC, Boston, etc by any means. But still a large city with solid dealers and money to back it up. Is there anything I can do to apply pressure, or am I the AD’s bitch? Still need to buy engagement + wedding rings and have told him I’m willing to buy from him, but obviously not going to put major life decisions on his ability to produce an allocation. Do I let him know I’m about to move on and buy those elsewhere? Do I hound him for updates on timeline? Gut is telling me he can’t get it, but I’m inexperienced. Any advice? Yes, spent $10k already which may have been foolish, it it’s a sunk cost. Do I start over somewhere else or hold out hope? Thank you for any advice.
