skin peeling after shower

hey guys, i worked as a dish washer for around a month where I was exposed to a lot of hot water, soap, detergents… etc. I quit my job but lately whenever I shower My skin peels of my fingers. No pain nothing just peeling excessively sometimes. At first it was a lot now its less but still peeling It got better but Im wondering what it could be.
