Pls help me figure out if he's into me?

So this is yet another post about this. Basically nearly 2 weeks now this waiter and I started talking a lot and he was showing clear signs he's interested and I was confident he was into me. He had asked to meet outside the cafe twice 1. To meet his friends and go out, 2. To go for a small walk after work. Eventually i got the courage and asked him out yesterday. His friends were there and it was okayish, but we barely talked 1 on 1. Then he offered to walk me home and he placed his hand on my back for long while saying goodbye and told me to let him know when I'm leaving town. Today I texted him that I'll stay in town for at least one more day and he told me to go out again after work. With his friends cuz this time it was more people and he wanted to catch up with them. This time tlked way less 1 on 1 because we were like 6 people so everyine was in their own conversation. I overheard him mention that he had gone on vacation with his female best friend which obviously was more than a beat friend. I feel like he was staring at me while saying that but take that with a grain of salt. Anyway, then he took me home again and as we were sitting outside the door we were just side by side awkwardly looking at eachother and he said smt along the lines of "we'll see eachother again when we're both back" (cause this isn't were we live permanently). And then he realised I didn't know when I'll leave and he asked that. Then he said to let him know if I'll stay so we can go out. Soooo yea. I cant tell if he is into me cuz I was confident but now idk
