Insecure without glasses

Does anyone feel so insecure about not having your glasses on too the point where you don’t show your face without to ANYONE. Like I mean even your closest family and friends. I feel like I look so ugly and weird without my glasses, so i avoid activities like swimming, so that I don’t have to take of my glasses. Many of my family and friends thinks it’s so weird how I don’t want to take off my glasses, but like when they say stuff like “omg I’ve forgotten what you looked like without them” or “you look so weird/different without your glasses” they only make it worse.
