How feasible would it be to retrofit a Sensel trackpad from a newer thinkpad to a T480S?

Before I start reading too far into it (pinouts, power rating, etc.), are there any glaring issues with trying to fit a Sensel haptic trackpad into my T480S? Replacement parts like this one are only around $50 and I would kill to have a half decent touchpad on my laptop. Already have the glass touchpad from the x1 yoga, but one of tese sensel ones would be outstanding.
