Was my neighbour cheeky for saying this, and what should have been my response?

I have major depressive disorder so I never leave the house, she notices this and saw me out rarely with my sister coming in from her car and said stop sleeping in your bed all day and get the hedge cut,

Now I only moved in a month ago and met her briefly, she does not know me whatsoever so I took this quite offensively and felt she has no right to say that to me considering she does not know me and what goes on in my life.

Am I being over sensitive? What should have been my response?
