Sprintec struggles

I have PCOS so my dr prescribed Sprintec (shocker lol) but her reasoning was since my periods were becoming later each month she didnt want me at risk for uterine cancer due to the estrogen dominance I seemed to be displaying in terms of my late periods. I am 8 months into the pill, I notice in the last 2-3 months my withdraw bleeds are happening Thursday on my inactive weeks (is that normal?) I accidentally skipped 1 day & now what would be ovulation time it seems like I’m still experiencing the symptoms? Lots of discharge, sore nipples and right sided ovary pain. There’s no way to still ovulate being this long into the pill…right?
