Wifi not working

Hi, my fiance recently gave me her Asus zenbook that she bought about a year ago and it has been working fine. Yesterday the wifi icon disappeared with i was playing a game and it doesn't have any settings for wifi anymore on it. The driver for the wifi has also disappeared and I have tried everything that I have researched on Google to do and nothing is fixing it. Is there anything else I can do besides completely reseting my computer?
