Laundry detergent: powder vs. liquid

Currently torn between sticking with liquid or swapping to powder detergent. I’m particularly thinking about going from liquid Tide to powder Costco brand. Should I do it?! Will I regret it? 😬

Need advice from the lovers (and haters) of powder before I commit to a big ole’ bucket of detergent that I might hate and will definitely be too cheap to not use and too lazy to return.
