High School Senior, thought I knew what I wanted to do, but I'm really reconsidering

I've always been an excellent student, achieved good grades, had solid extracurriculars, and been driven. Since about middle school I have been dead set on a career in Marine Biology, and have done everything I can to have set myself up for that track: I've taken and excelled in all the top science courses, taken an internship working in fisheries, and shown myself to be capable. My dilemma came to me at the end of my internship, though, when I started talking about careers with many of the people I had been working with. I got hit with a pretty hard dose of reality, and realized that a career in Marine Bio/Fisheries is incredibly difficult work with shit pay. Although it's something I enjoy, I don't enjoy it enough to work my ass off and make peanuts.

So with that, I'm starting to reconsider things. I still have about two months before early action applications for colleges start to close, and I want to figure things out. I feel confident that I can make it into a good college, and I know I can excell in dificult fields, but I've spent so long thinking I knew what I wanted to do that I didn't really explore other options.

With all that background out of the way, please help me narrow down my search. I've been good at pretty much everything in school, with a little weak spot in math, but even in that I don't struggle in, just not as good as the rest. My favorite field is in sciences, and even though I'm departing from the idea of Marine Science, I would not be opposed to other jobs in science. I know I can excel in difficult jobs, so what kind of fields should I look into that make money but aren't soulless shill jobs like finance/real estate?

Thanks in advance for responses, any guidance/advice is greatly appreciated.
