How can I deal with my resentment against women for being attracted to narcissists?

[Question]

I am a guy in my late 20s, raised by a narcissistic father.

I have noticed that women are often attracted to narcissistic traits in a romantic partner. I have seen it happen so many times. When you're handsome (my father is a very handsome man, women love him), the halo effect makes the narcissism more attractive. I have noticed women often ignore narcissistic traits or even fetishize them. Narcissistic traits are often seen as masculine, confident, dangerous, exciting, sexy, vivacious.

Narcissistic partners make your life a living hell later, of course. But I can't even get past the first stage.

Coming to understand narcissism, I positioned myself diametrically opposite to narcissistic behavior. I am kind, compassionate, I have a wide emotional bandwidth, I am emotionally available to friends and family, I foster my relationships, I care about people. I don't do these things just to attract women, but I have noticed that my people pleasing and shyness, lack of confidence makes me very unattractive to women.

Aren't I the better person between my father and me? Apparently not.

I have grown to resent women for being attracted to narcissism itself and to toxic behavior associated with narcissism. I resent the sexual validation. It definitely inflames a specific type of misogyny in me.

It makes me jealous of course, but it gives me a sense of existential dread. Was my dad just evolutionarily more advanced? Was he in the right? Is this just the game? Was the abuse I suffered valid?
