Eucalyptus trees

Hi

I've just bought a house with two large eucalyptus trees c.10m tall.

They need pruning/pollarding as branches are hitting off house and are dangerous in high winds

Any advice on how/where to cut? And also best time of year?

The tree is at least 30-40 years old, and we like them, so I don't want to do anything that damages so it won't regrow.
