Can I drink alcohol on propranolol?

Hello everyone, sorry if I'm breaking the rules, first time poster

I recently did a 24h holter EKG and found out I had more than 8000 ventricular extrasistoles and QT prolongation in some of my QRS complexes.

The cardiologist prescribed me propranolol 40mg 2 times a day.

What bugs me is can I drink alcohol from time to time? Not necessarily getting shitfaced, but 2-3 beers a night, should I avoid it completely or can I drink it safely?
