IWTL everything about business and finance

Professional Skills

I want to start a business one day, and also just learn how to manage money better and everything like that. So I thought it would be good to get solid comprehensive knowledge on all the different topics. One resource I am thinking of using is the OpenStax business books (https://openstax.org/subjects/business), is that a good route to go in, or are other ways better to learn about it?

If I were to use the OpenStax books, which ones are important? Right now my thoughts are this:

  1. Read Economics, if I feel like that's not enough then I'll read Microeconomics and Macroeconomics as well.

  2. Read Business

  3. Read Statistics

  4. Read Accounting volume 1 and 2

  5. read Finance

  6. Read Management

  7. Read Organizational Behavior

  8. Read Marketing

  9. Read Business Law

  10. Read Business Ethics

  11. Read Intellectual Property

  12. And finally, read Entrepeneurship.

Do you think all of these books are worth reading and that I have the correct order to read them in? For example "Organizational Behavior" doesn't sound all that important to me but I could be wrong. They do have a book on business software skills as well but I don't think that's important at all as software is always changing and I'll just learn it when I need to use it. In any case, please let me know if this is a good way to go about it or if there are other resources you would recommend.
