Season 6 started out great, but the Kai/twins storyline became the focus...

... and it's just so boring. He's too villainous. It's just silly at this point.

The Damon/Bonnie storyline and relationship was so much better.

Plus, really? People want Stefan and Elena together more than Stefan and Caroline?
