Strix Point is a no show.
More than one month after the release of Zen 5 mobile processors in mid July, it is almost impossible to buy a laptop equipped with those CPUs. Basically the Asus ZenBook S16 is the only laptop released with the Zen 5 architecture, and its availability is very, very limited. Indeed not available at all in most countries. (On top of that, it seems the S16 has battery life and heating issues.)
I don't know if this is due to few design wins by AMD (that is, few vendors who decided to jump on the Strix Point ship), or no mass production from amd side. In the past, availability has been a long time problem for AMD, but in the last years they claimed to have solved the delays in their fab-to-OEM pipeline. It seems it's not the case, and that's bad for consumers. Sadly, not so much has changed since the decades of Intel monopoly, in the laptop market.
