Recommended all-around budget combo for Kayak fishing the Long island sound.

I've been doing a lot of freshwater fishing in northern New Jersey this summer, but I grew up on Long Island and still visit a couple of times a month, cold spring harbor to be particular. I'd love to fish in the Long Island Sound again. While we no longer have our center console, we do have a couple of fishing kayaks, which I’m excited to use. However, I don’t want to risk using my freshwater baitcaster or fly gear in saltwater.

Since I've already spent a lot on freshwater gear this summer and I wont be using this inshore gear too often, I’m looking for a budget-friendly inshore combo that works well from a kayak, especially in the Sound. Growing up, I caught plenty of fluke/flounder, a decent amount of bluefish, and some striped bass. Ideally, I’m after a versatile rod and reel combo that can handle these species and is kayak-friendly.

Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
