Does anyone else not know what their level is ?

Question

I when diagnosed high and low functioning were still being used. I was diagnosed in the early 2000s. I was told I was high functioning. I was reevaluated for college in 2018(they refused to accept my original records because they were old). To no one’s surprise I’m autistic. However the doctor didn’t mention what level or even function. He suggested accommodations I already had plus some other things. I’ve used the doctor’s letter for work accommodations since graduation. I don’t think I’m as high functioning as I told in my youth. I have accommodations in most aspects of life. My family and now my partner now helps with chores and responsibilities. I still can get overwhelmed with things though like shopping, driving, or cleaning. After a meltdown I require handholding and physical prompting to eat or shower. When I’m over stimulated I do rely on my partner for help. I go non vocal when in meltdown or over stimulated. So we use asl in those moments. I just I have no idea what my level is and kinda want to. Anybody else in this situation?
