Should I start dropping off my resume in person?

Has anyone tried this and did it work? I feel so disheartened right now that despite applying online everyday for past few months after recently graduating, I haven't received any positive response. I am not sure what to do now. I have been meaning to settle down here with my family after 20 years of being here but with the situation at hand, I am not sure what can be done.

I know networking is a pretty deal here, and I have reached out to folks on LinkedIn but have met with no response. So how does one go about networking here? 🥲

Anyway, back to my question - Does this approach work anymore? Any advice on what I can do to improve my chances?
