To dress as clowns by no mistake

Hand-picked hideous clothes

Why this nonsense, nobody knows

While eating, many eyes glanced their booth

They faked obliviousness, totally aloof

Secretly giggling at how crazy they appeared

Cowboy hat with his tie dyed beard

Ruby heels to match her red eye patch

To complete her outfit, a sombrero hat

This ugly spectacle had them embarassed together

But the meaning behind the act was far more clever

Being laughing stocks was a consequence

But with each other they exuded confidence

Ignoring the outer person they learned of those within

It matters not outer beauty nor clothing on skin
