Did Nintendo just forget Super smash bros for n64 existed?

I am pretty confused, its been 3 years since Nintendo added n64 to the expansion pack of the online sub...

We have had pretty much all the classics with Mario kart, both Zeldas, pokemon stadiums, Mario party, paper Mario, Super Mario 64, Banzo and Kazooie...

Where the Fuck is Super Smash Bros? Legit the one game that started the most unique fighting game series... Iconic with all Nintendo characters. Super fun to play with friends casually and can even get pretty competitive... So 3 years later its still nowhere to be found...

Whats the issue? I dont get it.

With the online being added you could even have Shuffle 4v4 with items fighting random people, Shuffle 1v1/2v2 without item with a ladder online and so on... So much potential and fun and Nintendo just... Doesnt do it?

What am I missing?
