NSV: Clothes shopping for work

NSV

I went to the LOFT to get some work clothes. I recently donated so many clothes that were too big that I almost have nothing left to wear for fall. So the woman who was helping me kept bringing me sizes two sizes smaller than I thought I needed.

I almost felt — well, insulted is not quite the right word? And I could tell she had the kindest and most helpful intentions. But I knew she was being clothes that were too small. And let’s just say I have a lot of complicated feelings around buying clothes and I hate trying on clothes that don’t fit and make me feel like a [insert weight-related slur here]. So I felt really horrible.

Well the TL;DR is she instead I try smaller sizes and the clothes fit and I couldn’t believe it and I left with a lot of useful clothes for work.
