If BF6 was to release, would you be able to trust the decisions of EA and DICE?
Hello all! You may remember me from this post where I was asking about some of your favorite ways to enjoy BF2042
Since then, I decided to try out Delta Force Hawk Ops and go back and forth to try and form a solid opinion on both franchises, but mainly BF was my main focus since Delta Force is very new.
With that being said, would you even want to believe DICE/EA on their promises for a new BF game? I feel so... frustated with how BF2042 was handled and this video sums up a lot of my concerns very well
A good TLDW of it is: maps are horrible (agreed; I rarely like to be rude to the hard work of developers but the 2042 maps are truly awful) guns are lacking, gunplay is okay but a lot of guns are laser beams, aiming is broken at an ENGINE LEVEL, the launch was unacceptable (even by BF standards) and the vehicles are in a broken state of overpowered or completely useless and unplayable.
But then the game gets canceled? Are you serious? You can go back and play ANY Battlefield game and be able to have a polished experince with very little bugs. But 2042 gets canceled? The only way this could be justified is if BF6 is AMAZING. It is so hard to see this franchise I love and have played since I was a kid get ruined like this. Which would lead me to my main question and what the communities thoughts are: Do you want to deal with another BF6 game when there were so many glaring issues with this game? All things considered; I was able to somewhat enjoy some of my time on BF2042. But you just feel like there is so much missing.
I do not mean to make this post to complain, truly; I understand there has been enough hate directed to Battlefield in general and I do not think that a franchise I love and enjoy needs more of that. I just want to hear other thoughts to know if I am crazy or if my concerns about the upcoming Battlefield game are justified after the... rollercoaster of BF2042.
