GK-3B / GR-55 Tuning Question

I searched past threads and a ton of places online, product manual, YouTube, forums etc. but could not find an answer. Does the GR-55 output an audio signal that's "always in tune", similar to MIDI? Meaning, if I play a bass guitar through the GK-3B, and let's say my strings are very slightly out of tune, will the output be detected as a certain pitch and then be outputted fully in tune?
