VPD Detective George Bawart's 1991 Interview with Donald Fouke
This 6-page report, written following a September 18, 1991 interview with SFPD Officer Donald Fouke, was part of Bawart's investigation into Arthur Leigh Allen. As you probably know, Fouke saw a man leaving the area where the murder of Paul Stine had occurred on October 11, 1969.

He indicated that it was difficult to tell if this person had a crew cut from the person he was looking at today; that his hair went back in a similar manner which he described like a widow's peak. He then pointed to the photo just to the right...(unreadable for 8-9 lines)...Fouke was asked how positive his identification of the photograph of Arthur Leigh Allen was. He indicated he could not positively say
