Job interviews with child 2 on the way

I just got a promotion at my company, and I’ve been itching to get out and do something new. As soon as I got promoted, a lot of doors began to open up, and I have many interviews lined up.

Our second child is due in March, however. We’ve decided with my wife that she will now stay home for some period of time and I will become the sole earner.

The combination of being tired of my job, and the need for more income and a career that will bring me more joy, balanced with worry about a change in work life balance worry me.

Ultimately I have a good balance at home, and have time to spend with my family, and don’t want that taken away. But, this feels like a good time to find more money and provide for my family in a job that also brings me passion.

Should I take the risk and enter a new job, or stick it out again?
