Question For Formatting Education Section In Resume & When To Mention Coursework
Just to clarify, I don't need a review of my resume, but I'm looking to get a few questions answered for a particular situation I found myself in.
To give context, I had planned to pursue a dual Master's degree in Art Therapy and Clinical Counseling this fall semester. However, after seeing how the program was conducted, I decided that art therapy and counseling weren't the right fit for me. Instead, I decided to take classes at a community college I attended in high school. The reason why I attended a community college during high school was to take dual-credit college classes so that I would be able to earn an Associate's degree along with my high school diploma.
After earning my high school diploma and Associate's degree, I attended a four-year university (not the same one where I left the dual degree program) and earned a BA in Psychology.
So, to put it simply, my education history would be in the following order: High school diploma -> Associate's degree -> BA in Psych -> community college classes with no degree in mind.
Seeing how my current coursework is coming from the same institution where I earned my Associate's degree, would I need to list the institution again as my most recent education? Would that look bad in front of those who will be looking at my resume? Also, for my current coursework listing, would I leave the degree information blank or instead write something like "Coursework In Progress"?
If there is anyone who can be of assistance, I would very much appreciate it! Please let me know if I need to clarify anything!
