First Time in China

Hello, I am travelling to China for the first time from Berlin from the 15.10 to the 30.10. What are the suggestions for first-timers to not forget anything important?

I specifically panic about forgetting document-related things, payments, Internet surfing and all the necessary stuff that travelling to China might require.

If anyone has something to suggest, please I'd love to be fully prepared before the departure!
