Should I contact my doctor?

So, since February I've been doing a type of self harm that is known to affect the heart. I've had to get hospital treatment a few times as a result and my pre existing health issues exacerbated it.

Last night I was in a panic again about my heart sounding weird and very strong.

I feel guilty about seeking medical help for SH consequences, especially if they don't take my suicidality (which is still very strong) seriously afterwards.

But I don't wanna die inconveniently, especially as I'm uncomfortable with my family knowing about my SH, despite having moved away from them a while ago.
