Rumor: Apple Airpods Max 6 will have a built-in EQ

Last year I bought the Airpods Max secondhand because the v2 was on the horizon. As a mastering audio engineer I only care about sound quality and I have noticed, that out of the box, the response of the Max is bass heavy and lacks high mid frequencies but this can be remedied using EQ.

Saved up for the v2 in the hope it would have a built-in EQ. But Apples' announcements at the latest event left me underwhelmed. Maybe, in this pace, version 6 might offer a built-in EQ.
