Struggle with British spellings

I’m American and have grown up using American spellings like ‘center’ and ‘favorite’ etc.

I’ve tried using British spellings just to switch up, like ‘centre’ and ‘favourite’ but my mind and body literally twitch and act up because I’m used to American spellings that these look unnatural to me.

Is there any way to for them to be natural to me?
