A Small Act of Kindness for a a Friend Who Deserves It
Hi everyone,
I'm reaching out to the internet to ask for a favor. I'm a photographer and have been traveling for the past three years. Before I embarked on this journey, a guy from my hometown, who has a motor disability and finds it difficult to move around, reached out to me for a coffee. He told me how closely he follows my travels and how, through my posts and stories, he feels like he's traveling with me. This guy has now become a close friend.
A few months ago, I returned to Italy and saw him again. He told me he started a page on https://x.com/8nment, where he wants to share his perspective, especially with an American audience. He’s fascinated by America and everything American, which is why he chose X to publish his content. In his words, it’s "the platform for Americans." But, as you can imagine, it’s not easy to get noticed on these platforms, even though he's been posting consistently for months. The only like he receives is mine.
I know the internet can be a kind place, and it costs nothing to leave a like. It would mean the world to him, and he truly deserves some joy.
He doesn’t know about this post, and I’d like to keep it that way, so please don’t mention it to him. I’ll probably delete this post in a few days to keep it discreet.
Thank you so much.
