Chino spirit temporarily closed

Hey I was hoping to get a little insight from anyone who knows. The closest spirit to where I live opened a few weeks ago, within a week they closed, the website reflected the closure and reopening date. As of a week ago they are shown as open again.

So last evening my kids wanted to go look at spirit and we rushed through the evening routines to make it happen. They love Halloween and spirit. It was about 7pm the listed hours are until 9pm. We get there and there’s a hand written sign on the door that says closed until further notice. There are several people outside that were also coming to the store, like 4 other families and 8 adults. wtf is going on? Store was fully stocked and all the lights and music were on. A few people outside said they’ve seen this at this store a few times already this year, they randomly operate as their manager sees fit. That’s insane.

Why is this store always closed, and why is it listed as open? I get that things happen but obviously we weren’t the only ones confused by the situation.
