[TOMT] [Live-action Movie] WWII love story

I saw this movie a couple times as a kid, but I cannot for the life of me find it anywhere. These are the only details I remember:

A woman with bright red lipstick (only trait I really remember) falls in love with and marries a conventionally attractive man who goes off to fight in the war. She receives word that he was reported to be MIA and doesn’t see him for years. Believing him to be dead, she marries a less conventionally attractive man (from my vague memory) who is nice but it seems implied that they don’t share the same spark. They grow to love each other only for the first husband to return out of the blue. Woman ends up staying with the second husband since they’ve created a new life together.

I would love the validation of knowing this movie does, in fact, exist. Thanks for any help!

Edit: At this point I feel like it was a knockoff of the Pearl Harbor (2001) film, which is one I don’t think I’ve ever watched but the story lines up.

Edit: It’s definitely Pearl Harbor. Turns out I only saw a few scenes of it as a kid and I think my child brain filled in imaginary details so that all this time I thought it was a different movie. Now I can put it to rest!
