How to copy from MC command line?

Hello.

I need clarification on how to put whatever is there in MC command line into the clipboard to be able to paste it outside of terminal (right-click menu does not work in MC command line)

Currently, if i need to copy-paste a full file path, i do following:

  1. navigate to file in mc

  2. ctrl+shift+enter to put file path into command line

  3. type echo in front of the path and " , run the command

  4. ctrl+o to see output

  5. double-click the line to select it

  6. right-click and select copy

i think it's too long. i know i can use shift+arrows to select what's currently on MC command line, but neither ctrl+ins nor ctrl+shift+c does not copy it - furthermore it would have copied to terminal buffer, right? i need "another" buffer.
