Shift Sys Error Ford Fusion 2017 SE/Please help
I currently have a 2017 Ford Fusion SE. It of course popped up with the Shift Sys error code, I looked it up and replaced the bushing completely. It lasted for about 3 weeks. Then it popped up again and I replaced it, again. This time it lasted only about 24 hours before the error popped back up again. Everything looks physically fine and clearly the bushing did not get damaged within the last day. I picked up 3 more bushings from Ford (the actual bushing part). It started just fine this morning but, I bought the full shift linkage cable (DG9Z7E395AU). Is this what needs to be replaced? The full shift linkage cable? Or can I just replace the plastic pink thing at the end and have that fix it? Or is this a deeper problem somewhere. This only happens when I start the car, rarely it won't let me go into park so I have to turn off the car to force it into park but, that happens rarely. Normally it happens right when I start the car. Any help is appreciated, thank you!
