PC failed to wake up from sleep mode and rebooted ( W10, KB5043064 )
Hello, some strange thing happened to my desktop PC and I'd like to understand why.
I put it to sleep mode before going to dinner, and when I came back and pressed the power button nothing happened for like 3 seconds. Then everything started normally just like It was totally shutdown.
When I check the Event viewer, there's no record of the sleep/wake up like usual. Just one critical error ( Kernel 41 , category 63 ) that happened when I pressed the power button.
Before that there's no recorded activity until +1h before I put it to sleep mode, that's kinda weird too.
I know I didn't shut it down by accident because I had some chrome tabs I wanted to keep, and when I launched the browser it proposed me to restore the pages like after a power outtage. But this time there wasn't any outtage, I was in the house I would have noticed.
I tried to run a software called "Whocrashed " , it used to give me some clues on my older PCs but there's no dump file or whatsoever.
Thank you for reading , I never came across such a problem.
